Yoooohoooo! Any June 2010 surgery dates?

heya!! i'm a june 14ther!! =D i'm so excited but nervous at the same time

yayyya 4 us  my surgery date is june 15th can't wait im so happy

June 14th for my reversion surgery.  Band to sleeve.

And I'm not in education YET, but I'm getting my alternative certificate to teach!

 My surgery date is June 8th. I am excited and can not wait to get started. My surgery is going to be like a revision to RNY because I had surgery  13 years ago for GIRD and they did something called a Nissan (not the car..lol) so the surgeon has to undo what was done and then proceed with the RNY. I have been told this is a bit risky for me and I will be in the hospital for a bit longer then most. I will have a feeding tube and drains for the first day or so because they do not want to stress the area where they join things together.
I am ready, I have been for a long time but did not make the decision till a few months ago to do this. I just recently found out I am diabetic. Now is the time to do it.
Glad to meet you all and June is the month for the beginning of our lives.. 

about thursday last week i found out that i finally finished everything to get a date and i had to get my iron up..thankfully everything looks good now and the nurse said to expect a date in june..so i am keepin my fingers crossed..that means i have at least great holiday outfits this year lol...i started all this in november seems like it took forever!!!!!! wont know what to do with myself the day it will be done...hope everyone does well threw their surgeries

I had my surgery on June 9th.  I am feeling good and am down 74.5 lbs

I just found out that I am approved and my surgery date will be June 2nd. See you on the loser's bench!!

Ok, I'm jealous of all you with surgery dates! ;)

Still, I have very good news. I met with my surgeon for the first time today and he greenlighted my RNY surgery. I'm aiming for a June date and he recommends planning on a full month recovery. But, I'm going to have to be VERY LUCKY to get insurance approval and a surgery date set in June.

Dang it.

My life (work) only has a break in June. Otherwise, I'm probably looking at November or December, even though I'm ready to do this thing now.

Hey all! I'm a June 14th person too.  What's so crazy I'm in education too!  So many teachers having this surgery wonder why?  Stress maybe?
