Yoooohoooo! Any June 2010 surgery dates?

I am having my surgery on June 14....two days before my 70th birthday. My birthday gift to me. I have just started the 12 week pre surgery education classes.

 Hello everyone,  I work in a school as well, so I am scheduled for June 8 of this year.  I am very excited and just getting on this site for the first time today.  I know this will be an important source of support, and I was happy to find a group with similar timing.
I had to do the 6 month insurance thing, and them my company changed insurance, so it was totally unnecessary. Frustrating...Good luck to all!

I do not have an exact date yet either. Dr. says we are aiming for the first part of June. It seems so far away I'm trying to kick some bad habits now so things don't seem quite as drastic How about you guys ? I think I will post a separate thread for pre- op goals

Hi all!~
I am scheduled to have surgery sometime in June too. 
This is a fast process for me.  I inquired about it last week.  I have had all my dr appts taken care of.  I go to a 2 hr meeting on april 14th.  Then meet with the surgeon and do the physc test the same day and boom get a date.  I am having it done in NC. 
I cant wait till it is over!!!

I have a tentative surgery date of June 7th with Dr. Aceves.  I am both very nervous and very excited!

I am 100% getting surgery (VSG) in June.  I have time booked off, I'm using half of my sick days and some personal days.  Two weeks worth.

The one thing I haven't decide on is the surgeon I'm going to use.  

As for pre-op I am doing so much prep work that I should be healthy for surgery.  I will come back tomorrow and post my regime.

Hey All! I, like all of you, am scheduled for June 10, 2010! I am so excited and have scheduled my surgery around my mother who is a teacher so she can help out with my two little boys. I created a group for us so we have a common place to share!

hey yall im still in my post they told me i will have it June 30. When i get approve im still stuggling on eating wise. so far the last thiing i have to do is my evauation and my dietary meeting. may will be my last 6monthes as well. im a lil nervous being put to sleep
