Hi! I was in the same boat! I have the BCBS state health plan. They denied me for my sleeve, but I am having the gastric. It is another alternative to get the weight off until you can have the RNY-the only problem would be the insurance company! I wish you the best of luck. I totally understand it is frustrating for us that have high BMI's, but it will happen for you!

I will also be starting my weightloss journey with you on June 1st,
Spending the day cleaning the house and getting things ready for my home comning.
I shopped over the weekend, and like others have mentioned, felt lost,
But my doctor has had me on full liquilds since Tuesday,so I have been playing with protein drinks. and cream soups, not really a cream soup eater but found a chicken with herbs,that was pretty good.
I'm not nervous, my family is, but I have peace, this is the right thing for me.

OH I forgot the main thing, they moved up my surgery date.  I'm no longer on June 11th they moved me up to June 18th with you.  I guess we are destined to be friends!
