Good luck on your surgery. Mine is June 29th.

My surgery is June 8th as well. I am very nervous. My surgeon only requires a 10 day preop diet for people with my BMI. I start today. I beleive everything will be ok, and that surgery is the right choice, but I am so afraid of surgery. I haven't ever had one, and it makes me very nervous. I am scared of anesthesia, possibly getting a catheter or tubes, etc. Overall, I am freaked out!!! I am excited though. I can't wait to see the lbs. dropping! Good luck to everyone. I will keep you in my thoughts!

I have found two types of protein powder that I like and work very good for me.  They both have a lot of protein in them.  They are Unjury and Syntha 6.  You can google both of them and get a lot of information on these two types.  I found some protein bars at Sam's Club called Premier Nutrition PROTEIN bars.  They come packed 15 to a box and cost around $14 and each bar contains 30g of protein.  I like to have one of these bars followed up later by a glass of 1% milk, it is a nice afternoon snack packed with protein and not feeling hungry until it is time for my evening meal.
