My liquid diet is 14 days. I am on day 5 now....all is going well...just hungry in the evening. But if you follow the diet like you are supposed to, your body will get used to it and you'll be fine!

My date is also June 9th!! I am so ready for this surgery, I see June 9th as my new life begins. I have been on a high protein liquid diet since May 26th and it is really not as hard as I thought it would be. I am too scared to cheat I want my liver to shrinks so my doctor will have no problems. Wish you all the best in your new life!

Thanks for every body's support but I'm so nervous but i can't wait for my new journey to begin i will update everyone as soon as i feel better after the surgery see you then good luck to all of June surgeries

I am home....in pain, but alive!! I had a lot of blood loss due to a nicked vein around my spleen area, but other than that everything went really well. On my preop diet I lost 16 1/2 pounds!! I tried a few bites of applesauce, that just made me sick. So now I am sipping on a protein drink, then back to bed!! Good luck to all those to come!

YUK! But, seems like a small price to pay. So, I'm just warning my co-workers and kids not to cross me as I might be feeling a smidge grumpy!
