Surgery for Lap RNY
Came home on Wed, Have been improving every day,
My pain has been less than I expected, I"m able to keep it under control, with a small dose of Dilaudid.
I'm doing my walking, hoping tomorrow to walk outdoors, in the sunshine.
I have been able to tolerate all my clear liquids, tried milk tonight, no problem.
I Praise my LORD, who is the Great Healer. and I thank all of you on this website, who made my decision ,well informed. I went into surgery knowing no matter what would happen, that I would have this forum for questions and support.
So the journey begins.........

Hi! I am on the 29th and already getting nervous and thinking 3 weeks from Monday! Is anyone already on a special pre-surgery diet? I don't see my surgeon until the 18th, so I don't have any rules as of right now. Good luck everyone!

I may be fine if I wasn't slightly dizzy at all times. My stomach is dealing okay by now, but obviously my blood sugar hasn't caught on.
