Wow! COngrats! Are you in any pain? My surgery is not scehduled until July 9th, and I am curious about the pain afterward.

yes!!! he bought be the nectar sweets today. he got me the vanilla bean torte, very good and doesn't leave an after taste. i will definitely try the chocolate one, i think a friend of mine may have gotten that one as well.

Well if we count my heavyist at my preop testing in May I have lost a whopping 17, Yes 17 pounds, I just can't believe it. I did well on the clears for 10 days!! Yes 10 whole days on clears, If not for the protein drinks I would have starved!!
Sorry you are not tolerating your protein drink, maybe you could try Syntrax Nectar choc truffle. During my preop visit, the dietian left me sample several different kinds. I purchased the choc truffle and the roadside lemonade. I don't care for the lemonade, but the choc in the magic bullet with skim milk is my saving grace. You get 35 grams of protein in 8 oz.(with milk) You can also add sugar free choc syrup if needed for more flavor. Try some!!

i think im around 15-20, and it's unbelievable.
although is anyone else nauseous as hell? i think it's a protein drink issue, i don't think it's agreeing with. i have my husband out right now buying a different type. UGH

Good luck to you too! I am so excited and anxious. I called the hospital this morning to make sure they had everything they needed from my PCP -- just to be sure! I had to fax the results of the blood pressure check I had with my PCP on Friday. It was way down from before so I guess everything is fine. I'll will be waiting by the phone on Wednesday between 11am and 2pm for what time I should report on Thursday. I hope everything works out in your favor. Take care.

for all of us june 1st surgeries today is our 1 week anniversary! im just wondering how many pounds everyone has dropped so far since surgery? i have lost 15! im amazed i didnt know so much could go at once. i knew it would be fast in the begining but thats just amazing to me

Well we are both in the same boat. I'm scared to DEATH of surgery and I'm also having it on June 9th! It amazes me that I'm willing to risk my life or something to happen to me and not be there for my kids but it also shows me how bad i need this! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. My surgery is at 10:15am,... what time will you be going in? Good Luck!

congrats and good luck! I will be having surgery on the 9th as well! I'm having the VGS done though.. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
