Cograulations all of you guys, you did amazing job during first week! Can you tell me how long it take for you to get insurance pre approve, I start my process for now and my first meeting with my sergeon will next week. D you have any suggestion for me before I will see him? Thank you in advance :)

I'm really excited, but I'm having a very hard time not feeling the "last meal" syndrome and eating everything I think I'll miss...even tho I know I'll be able to eat most of it again. Anyone else gain some of the weight they had lost pre-op? I'm afraid the doc is not going to be happy with me!

My date is also June 24th..I'd love to have buddies who are on the same date as well! I'm having a hard time not eating right now, but I'm trying like crazy to just remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint.

That is great that your hubby is doing it too!! We are very lucky...lucky to have hubbies that will love us no matter what size we are!
My last nutrition class and my hospital pre-op are on the 10th, PCP on the 24th and I'm trying to get organized before then. Hope your end of the school year stuff goes quick and without a hitch. My middle kid just graduated high school on the 31st and my oldest got married on the 15th of May, so last month was our crazy month. We still have one left at home, He turns 8 this month and is seriously concerned about the new eating habits in the house...I think he is having golden arches withdrawls...lol
I shall drink my morning nutrition drink to us! Cheers!

I can't do full Liquilds until 2 weeks out, which is next Monday, still have a week to go.
Saw MD today,took out my drain, everything is fine..
He did let me add Protein to my clear liquilds.
Was able to go out tonight ,to a Support Group Meeting for a couple of hours.
So, still drinking my meals, Soup sounds soooo good

My hubby just told me that he will do the diet with me as well! He wants to be supportive of me and not eat regular food in front of me. Aren't they good husbands! We are lucky!

I have my exercise and nutrition class on the 11th...hospital pretesting on the 16th,,,PCP signoff on the 23rd. All the while I am finishing up the school year with assesssments, report cards. end of the year picnic and graduation ceremony! At least keeping busy will make the time fly!

BENADRYL always works for me!! 25mg prior to bedtime and I am out!! Take a deep breath and close your eyes and just think of what you are going to look like on Labor Day, than Christmas and than next SUMMER!!!!!!!!!! You are going to feel so much better and be wondering why you didn't do it sooner!!!
