Hey hey!
I signed up on this site in December, but didn't ever think I'd be having surgery so never got involved. Well, I had my surgery on the 3rd!
I'm so excited for this process to really get started!

Hi! My name is Sherry and my surgery date is June 24th also. I am a little nervous about it but also getting excited about the possibilities afterwards. I am currently on a 30 day Optifast diet before surgery. I have cheated a few times but overall have done very well. I am already at my pre-surgery goal weight. It is very important to lose this weight so the liver will shrink and make surgery easier for the surgeon and hopefully prevent having to have open surgery. So I keep this in mind.

That is too hilarious! What a coincidence! By chance are you going for all your pre-op on the 25th? lol Cause if so I'll see you there! Good luck and definitely message me on here! Wouldn't mind having a surgery buddy! :O)

Thanks so much!! I read the same thing somewhere too! I'm just so terrified that something is gonna go wrong that I think at this point if they told me to jump off a cliff I'm sure I would!

OMG this is to funny First of all my B-day is the 26th next I am also scheduled for the 29th with the same Dr. And I am due to start my diet on the 19th like you I am really excited and just a little nervous. :0)

I'm happy to hear that you both made it through fine and dandy. We knew you would but its always great hearing from people after surgery. 11 lbs in a week. Thats awesome! Congrats and I can't wait to join you all on the losers bench (29th!)
