First, congratulations and good luck with your surgery. I am scheduled to have my sleeve done on this day as well. However, I am in Atlanta. 8 days away and I am very excited, nervous, and anxious all at the same time. A part of me is leaning toward having the RNY instead of the sleeve. IF you don't mind, what made you choose the sleeve?

Just know that all is well. You have waited for this moment for a long time. You may have crossed many mountains and hurdles in getting here. Embrace the moment, your life is about to change. I am not sure exactly what you are feeling, but my surgery is 8 days away and I can't wait. My biggest decision now is whether I am going to stay with VSG or go RNY.

You're having your surgery on the same day ??? How cool is that ? lol ....
What are you having to do for the pre-op diet ??? I am drinking 5 Bariatric Advantage Protein shakes a day or/ 4 shakes and a VERY LOW CALORIE/LOW FAT sensible meal. I will probably choose the 4 with a meal.

Hi, my surgery is also on the 18th and I am bugging! But, I know that Father GOD got my back and everything is going to be alright.

I am having RNY on the 17th also! Sadly, it was postponed from the 16th but it gave me an extra day to clean house so I guess it all worked out. I am super excited!

Wow, your date is the day before my birthday! I'm definitely praying you through this and afterwards for all the success you hope for (and more). I can certainly tell you that this is not an easy thing to handle and it will take you through every emotion you can think of but remember why you're going through this and once you start to lose the weight you will smile and get all the motivation in the world to keep going. Congratulations again to all the June babies and I can't wait to track your progress. See you on the other side....!
