WOW!  I'm so happy to hear this.  I had my surgery the same day as yours and just posted on another board that if I had to have another shake after one week, I was going to vomit.  So I switched to the next phase 1 week after surgery.  I feel okay, bt am still crossing my fingers that I did not mess up.

I had my RNY on the 17th as well.  I am slowly eating regular foods but I am so hesitant not knowing what will cause dumping and what will not.  I have avoided sugar and caffeine but know I will eventually run into something I won't tolerate.  I am losing inches faster than pounds right now.

Congrats on the surgery. I had mine the day before yours. I know what you mean about the Isopure. I wasn't able to keep it down after awhile, I found a gallon of chocolate fudge protein powder at Walmart. I don't remember the name but for a gallon it costs about 14$. My whole family likes it and to me its like drinking a chocolate milkshake once or twice a day. Yummo. Good luck!

I had my RNY the 17th also. I am eating "real" food now too. I can't tolerate milk products very well yet, and of course I'm staying away from breads, pasta, and trying to avoid sugar like the plague (lesson learned!). I had a really hard couple of weeks of non-stop vomitting and ER trips but now I feel great! I feel like my old self again...well except improved and over 30 lbs lighter :)

Topic: RE: Not losing weight
Ya know, I was banded on the same day, and a few weeks out I went through a stall where my weight stayed in the same few pounds for about four days, now in the last week I have lost 4 pounds. I was told by others that when you switch to reg food you tend to have a stall for a little bit. That might be the case!

Topic: RE: 1st fill
I had my first fill yesterday too. I didn't have to drink anything. They did it right there in the room. No numbing meds needed. It felt like a normal needle ***** but with pressue. The oddest part was when it went in it made this odd sound, but she said that is what is sounds like normally. Then getting it out was another issue. Once it was in, it didn't want to come back out, lol. Other than that it went really well. I have been on liquids and doing fine so no issues. I don't really notice much resriction yet though, but that might change when I am eating real food again!!

Topic: new by-pass person
I had gastric by-pass 30 June.
I have some tenderness still and I am up and down in energy levels.
Isopure is so vile and I am tired of broth.
Help with suggestions please.
