I am in S.Korea so I cannot get very many things here.  Most Koreans are very skinny so they do not have lots of weight related supplements.

What is greek yogurt?  My ouch hurts almost anytime I eat and it fills up so fast.

I have been breaking out with hives.  I have gone back to very simple foods to eliminate the cause.

I also had surgery June 30th.  I am eating greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder mixed in and sweetened with sf vanilla syrup (starbucks, davinci, torani).  Also, pintos n cheese (taco bell), I had turkey chili today from Trader Joe's and that went okay. Tomato bisque with unflavored protein (Unjury), split pea soup with unflavored protein...you could strain some soups.

Things my pouch (lovingly named Gertrude for the bitter old woman she is) rejects: cottage cheese, tuna, hash...

Find a different protein...try Nectar (not milky, mixes with water/crystal lite), Jay Robb...so far my two faves.

I have no advice, but I feel you.

I have read in the RNY forum that  stalls like this are common.  Something to do with our bodies having adjusted to the lowered calories.  Posters say to hang in there, the loss will come.

Topic: 6 wks post op RNY-what to eat?
Today is my 6 week mark after my RNY and my handouts tell me that I'm in the final "rest of your life" stage.

Low fat, low sugar.

But what the heck do I eat???  What are you guys eating???

Topic: RE: Breakfast
Now that I am 7 weeks out I cook chicken pieces and keep them in the refrigerator and eat a chicken piece for breakfast. And I have tried fat free refried beans for breakfast. I did try to eat an egg a few days ago and it still didn't taste right to me.  Before this in the early stages I made due with Adkins protein shakes, sometime sugar free pudding and soup broth.

Hi. I had my surgery on 6/2 and I am having a similar experience. My weight was dropping effortlessly and then now the weight loss has slowed down to 2lbs in the last 8 days.  I am walking at least 1 hour a day.  I know it is just a phase but am interested in what advice people have for you.

Hello fellow June folks! I had my surgery on 6/1 and within the first five weeks I lost 38 lbs! However, I haven't lost anything in the past 12 days or so.... I know plateaus are normal, but I worry I'm doing something wrong.

Daily Average I have:
20g of fat
35 g of carbs
78 g of protein
750 calories

I havent started exercising regularly, but I do get my water in....any advice? Any of you experience this?
Thanks!

Oooh ya...I'm not gonna try that!  I went to a pizza party the other night but made sure I had filled up on chili before I went.

Do NOT eat pizza!

I thought since it was veggie, little sauce, little cheese I'd be okay.

Again, I repeat, Do NOT eat pizza....

OUCH!
