Hi! I just got my surgery date yesterday! June 11th! I don't know if I'm more excited or scared. If that makes sense! It would be nice if we could all support one another as our date gets closer and closer.

Welcome to you!! I agree this is a great site and has has awesome info and people. Good luck to you on your journey. Hopefully we can all support each other. June is going to be a new start for all of us!!!

Not sure with Dr. McNatt, but I figure he and Fuzz have the same preop procedures. They will just take vitals, and some blood, then put ya in a room to wait on the anesthesiologist... I was there waitn a long while.... bring a book! When she did get there she just checked my throat and explained some things about that part of the procedure. Then had to give a urine sample..... Then they did an EKG checking my heart.
That was it.... no worries sweetie.... you will do great!

WOOOOHOOOO!! Congrats! I'm Cynthia and I'm having surgery June 1st so were pretty close my pre-op is May 12 and I am bursting with excitement LOL!!

I know it's soo cool!! I have been a lurker as well and feel the same way. Although I have managed to get such a wealth of inspiration from everyones posts and soooo much inspiration from their before and afters

Well it sounds like we have our own little group forming! I love it. I have been a lurker on here for a while now. I feel like most people on here already have had their surgery and already have friendships formed. It will be nice to have people to start out with and encourage as we go along together. I am going to send you all friend requests. Hope to chat with you soon.
