Im having my surgery on June 10th at 9:00 am in Phoenix, AZ. My doctor is Dr. Juarez and Im having my surgery at Good Sams. I cant wait for my new beginning!

Arriving at one goal, is a starting point to another
After many doctor appointments, paper work, joining a fitness club and started to make life changes... I have been approved for By pass surgery!
It is very emotional. You work so hard toward something, and then when it gets approved it is scary! I attended another support group last night. With all of the hard, uncomfortable things people talk about, EVERYONE says that it is the best thing that they have ever done for themselves.
Arriving at one goal... is a starting point to another!

So my surgery date is June 24th. My boss said i had to be at work for fathers day and back before back to school (retail job) So i had to schedule it so far out.....boooo for so far out, but yay for having a date! anyone close to that date? i would love to have a surgery buddy!

Hey! I just found out that I get to join the June 8th group!! Are we excited or what! I've been trying protein powders. So far I have found a few that I like. Some that I hate... What about you?

I have my surg on the 8th of June also. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I start my liquid diet on the 29th.....

Hey girl,
If RNY is bypass then yes we are having the same thing. there are so many terms to process since I have become a member. Last night I just sat and watched the chatting in the chatroom to familiarize myself with the lingo. It would be my pleasure to hook up with someone whom is on the same page as me. I need all the buddies I can get. I am in kenansville, NC and am having my surgery in Raleigh, NC. I'm excited and nervous and all I keep telling myself is " ITS A NEW BEGINNING". I just hope that with following directions, I won't get sick or have any problems. I will keep in touch.
