Hi!!! I have the 15th as well! I have sooo many emotions going on ..It doenst feel real yet but i have started feeling anxious. Im a big chicken.
I have started to make a list of things I need to have on hand for when I get home..
Would love to know what you all will need as well..
have you found protein stuff you like?
I havent bought or tired any yet..any yet
What vitamins will you have ready? will we need laxatives? Any tips would be great..

thanks for the reply! I don't know how the people on 2 weeks of liquids do it, I only have a week and I'm worried. I'm afraid I'll be biting someone's head off by then instead of gnawing on my arm lol. I can get a little cranky. good luck to you too! if you want to chat I'm here!

Congrats Tanha! I'm also a 6/1 so we'll be surgery sisters. I'm so excited and nervous and just all around freaking out. I start 2 weeks of liquids tomorrow so I feel your pain. I have a feeling after about a week I'll be sitting in the corner trying to gnaw off my own arm. But we'll see. Good luck!

Topic: June 4th, anyone know where to get cheap optifast??
Hi! I am set to have my surg on the 4th of June~WAAAAHOOOO~, however, I have to do a two week preop diet using the optifast program, the hospital sells this product, however, I am wondering if anyone knows where to get the product for a good deal. Right now I am looking at $300+ dollars for the two weeks, and financially I don't have that kind of money!

Hi everyone! I'm Tanha and usually just frequent the main forum and the PA forum. I'm 28 and female. Anyway I was submitted to insurance this week and just got the call a half hour ago...surgery scheduled for June 1st! I was expecting sometime in July so this was shocking. I have a preop week of SF carnation instant breakfast in my future and I'm hoping I don't kill someone due to extreme hunger lol.

I have to do a 9 day liquid diet starting of course june 1st. And I've also lost 14lbs. I'm dreading the liquid diet. I think thats the worst part of it all. What do you have to do?

This is a wonderful site for info. and support. My surgery is June 9th at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake NY. My Dr. is Dr. Michael Hill. I wish you all the luck and that your surgery goes well I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless and take care.
