Hi! I am so happy for you! Your big day will here before you know it. I will here for you with what ever you need! Rather it be running down an escape plan at the hospital on the big day etc.. Lol just kidding. Drink your protein shakes! They will help you out so much!!!!

Me too! Getting nervous! I have my pre-op appointment on Thursday and surgery on June 3rd as well!!!

yay! i cant believe it. i never thought i would finally get through everything and have a surgery date. june 1st! 14 more days until my new life begins. my dr wants me to lose a few pounds before surgery but i cant stick to a diet, if u could i wouldnt be doing the surgery. hows everyone elses pre-op diet going? if dont lose any weight do you think the dr. will refuse to do the surgery and move it out to a later date untill i can lose some? im just always thinking of things that could go wrong because getting the surgery seems to good to be true!

Applause to you for getting this far. It is a big decision! You can get through this extra time by focusing on getting healthier prior to surgery. Increase your water and protein, go for walks etc. You can do it! My surgery is finally going to be on June 10th. I was suppose to have it December of 2007 and then my husband was diagonised with terminal cancer and then passed away April 2008. I gave myself a year and was right back in the surgeon's office April 2009. I am starting my pre-surgery diet now. My doc said 2 weeks prior but I figure what the heck, start now. It took a lot to go ahead alone. We can do it my friend! We have a whole community here that understands and are here watching our backs! Good luck.

I am having my surgery on the 10th at 7am. I'm in Rhode Island and my surgeon in Dieter Pohl. This is soooooo exciting. I have to admit I am nervous that I won't suceed after all this but I am ready for a new beginning too! Good luck and keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thanks. I sure hope that I feel like a new woman when I get to the weight that I want to be.
