But you know what I mean.
28 days away. IT IS SCARY AS HECK.
I too, am a teacher and my date is 6/19. I feel your pain, but just think about how sweet it will be going back to school in September and being down 25 or more pounds. WOO HOO!
You can do your own research and find what you want, or what you feel you can afford.
I spent time on this because my health is important to me.
I WANT TO LIVE!!!!!
OK just playing around. But seriously, though out of all the vitamins I researched these are what I found that I have chosen to use.
I searched all over for the right vitamins and protein. Allot of people that I talked to who have had the surgery states that it is very important to take your vitamins and protein. From what they say if you don't you will be tired allot and your hair will fall out. I LOVE MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!
They say that it's hard to get the vitamins and protein down after surgery so we need to find the best protein and vitamins. These are the best I have found and their in GNC;

HELLO JUNE BABIES,
FOR WE ARE BEING REBORN THIS MONTH!
I really like this June message board because all of us are going through surgery in the same month. It's like our own group of brothers and sisters who know how each other feel. We know what each of us are going through. The anxiousness, the excitement, the proud fact of knowing soon this pain and suffering that we are experiencing will all be over soon.
It's going to be allot of work, we are going to have to press on even when we don't want to. And we are going to have to understand that our families are very fearful right now and need to be comforted. They love us, they can't help it!
We are going to do this thing and do it right! I pray that all of us June babies add each other as friends and stay in touch. We are really going to need each other for support.
But don't forget about our brothers and sisters of WLS who have already been through this! They have been a big help even if they don't know it. I myself have read all of the post and laughed , prayed for, and sat back and wondered about some of people here. Because some of y'all are crazy and ain't got it all!!!!!!!!!! I be cracking up over here!
I thought that I was crazy! Although, through all messages I learned what to do, and really what not to do. So all your messages are much needed.
Yet crazy are not we all need each other and that's a beautiful thing!
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

Look, my son is the same way as your husband. When you told him that he just got so scared. And being one of those men who don't know how to show emotion, he rather act like it's not important to put up his guard. He has to find a way to show you he's not scared! When he's scared out of his mind. So comfort him, don't say I know your scared!!!!!!!!!!
Just comfort him and let him know that everything is going to be alrignt.
Now back to us! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Can anyone help me with the following issue?
My husband was all gun-ho and supportive when I told him 2 months ago that I was going to start the process to get approved for surgery but today when I gave him the great news about being approved, he was soo negative. I asked him to help me pick a date to have surgery and he told me that it was my issue and I should choose a date that would be good for me. He also said that I needed to keep in mind that he only has Tueday's off from work. I was like what??? So in other words, he can't be there for me unless it's on a Tuesday? Is he kidding me? My sister says it might be his way of showing he's worried or concerned since he's not all that in touch with his emotional side. Could this be true? I know you all are thinking, "Why don't you ask him?" If it were that easy I would, but he never wants to share his emotional side with anyone, not even me. What do you guys suggest I do?
