I lost 16 lbs. during 2 week pre-op. And since surgery on June 11th, I have lost 17 lbs!  How is everyone doing with the measuring and eating? I am now, eating fish, cottage cheese, cheese, eggs, yogurt, peanut butter and peanuts.  Still having a hard time with portions. Is anyone having any problems? I am having a real hard time with water! Just can't get enough down during the day.

Hiya, i had my op on the 12th, todate i've lost 28 lbs so far, so i'm feeling really good. I stalled for 11 days then the scale started to move again. I'm eating very similar food to you and will this week introduce other foods as today is my 4th week post op. I dont finish all of the 64 oz liquid and i have about 3 meals a day if i'm lucky. I'm going to try to increase to 6 small meals a day. I eat about 4-5 tablespoons of food at a time. Keep up the good work, you are doing absolutely great!

I have lost 30 lbs. since surgery on June 11.   I am doing very well.  I wish I had more energy though.  I have started eating too and measuring is extremely important for me.  I have definitely had episodes where I have eaten too much and have to wait for that uncomfortable feeling to pass.  No dumping though.  My only real problem has been constipation but I'm relearning my body and I think I have that under control now. I too need to get more fluids but I am meeting my vitamin and protein goals 90% of the time.  My next hurdle is exercise.  I'm ready to get started but I just don't have the energy on most days.  I need some motivation in this area.

I've lost 41 lb since 6/11/09.  I do try to portion as much as possible but I too am guilty for overeating at times and getting that horrid stuck feeling.  I meet my vitamin requirements on a daily basis but definately not protein.  I'm suffering for it now since I do realize that my hair is starting to fall out a lot more.  Liquids are ok but it seems my thirst has slowed down a lot.  I'm waiting to finish my 12 hr shifts 6 days a weeks so that I can get back to the gym.  I'm also gonna go to GNC tomorrow to see what kind of protein shots I can take.  I can't stand the shakes so I figure if its a shot of protein I dont have to suffer as much.  :)
