A little bit freaking out?!?!
OKay so tomorrow is my all clear liquids day, plus I give myself the lovenox shot at 5pm. It's sitting on my counter, and ever since I brought it home from CVS today, I've been a bit uneasy. Monday morning 5:30am arrival time at the hospital! OMG! Last night was my first very sleepless, restless night, so I just took a xanax to hopefully help me calm down to sleep tonight. I'm just starting to get those thoughts and fears... this is normal right? Like will I survive the surgery to hold my kids again? Is this really the right thing to do? Am I sure? Am I ready? Ahhhhh!! Help! Tell me this is normal!
It is totally normal!! I have been having moments of those exact thoughts and feelings. We have the same surgery date and I know we will each do great! I am leaving for Denver tomorrow morning and packing today has made this very real. Most all people say the only thing they regret is not having this surgery sooner. We will be on that losers bench before ya know it. Good luck..I'll be thinking and praying for all of us with the same bright futures in store!
Thanks!! Well I slept very well last night... feel a little "hungover" even today, just groggy. I am going to happily down my clear liquids today and keep busy. (I feel like I'm nesting, like before giving birth... . lol!) Best of luck to you Rafting Lady! Didn't realize we had the same date!!! Wow!!! See you on the "other side!"
Good luck Jody!!!
No liquid diet for me, just clear liquids today (although the past couple days I have been going easy on eating in general and getting accostomed to protein shakes, etc.... At this point now, I have 15 minutes until I have to shove a syringe into my stomach. I'll be glad when I get through that. And I am STARVING! I can't wait to go to bed, so I can stop feeling so hungry. lol.... I am SO ready!!!
Good luck everyone!!!
