no weight loss in week 2, whats wrong with me? june 1st-ers whats ur week 2 weight loss?
i had gastric bypass june 1st, i lost 15 pounds during the first week. thats great im so happy but now here i am well into week two and havent lost a single pound. monday marks 2 weeks exactly and i will weigh again but as of right now i have lost no weight in the last 6 days. i dont see how thats possible, im following the full liguids diet, i hardly eat anything. is there something wrong with me? did anyone else feel like they stalled so shortly after surgery?
im 5'2" and started at 225 pounds that did put me in the morbidly obese category but im on the smaller side compared to most bypass patients so i kind of knew my weight loss may be smaller than others who are bigger but a complete stall on week 2?! anyone with any info please help

Hi FunSized.....i'm 5'3.5" on a good day lol. I had my RNY on Monday, May 4 and discharged from the hospital on Wed May 6. I weighed myself as soon as I got home expecting to have gained a little with all the IV fluids etc. I gained 17 LBS!!!
Then I had a complication...excruciating lower abdominal pain......back to ER on Monday morning......CT scan detected a GRAPEFRUIT sized ovarian cyst (which they aspirated thru my back) and blood work indicated acute pancreatitis. Back on the IV for another 4 days before being discharged Thursday May 14......this time I stayed as far away from the scale as I could get and waited for my 2 week post op to see what i'd lost/gained (I was in the hospital during my 1 week post op and weighed in at 242 which is EXACTLY what I started at on my surgiversary. 2 week post op I was 238.
As of today I've lost another 17 lbs..............I'm really happy to have had the surgery, feel blessed to be covered by insurance and here on the other side, wiped out but otherwise healthy.......I'd be even happier to EVER see a 15 lb drop in one week and I walk 3 miles/day every day, drink my protein/water, and take my vitamins faithfully.
