Surgery for Lap RNY
Came home on Wed, Have been improving every day,
My pain has been  less than I expected, I"m able to keep it under control, with a small dose of Dilaudid.
I'm doing my walking, hoping tomorrow to walk outdoors, in the sunshine.
I have been able to tolerate all my clear liquids, tried milk tonight, no problem.
I Praise my LORD, who is the Great Healer. and I thank all of you on this website, who made my decision ,well informed. I went into surgery knowing no matter what would happen, that I would have this forum for questions and support.
So the journey begins.........

Thank you for your update! Glad to hear you are having such a positive recovery. These kind of updates ease some of my anxieties :)!

I had my RNY on 6/1 also. I'm starving on this liquid diet and counting down to Tuesday when I get to move on to soft protein... ;)

WOW!
I can't do full Liquilds until 2 weeks out, which is next Monday, still have a week to go.
Saw MD today,took out my drain, everything is fine..
He did let me add Protein to my clear liquilds.
Was able to go  out  tonight ,to a Support Group Meeting for a couple of hours.
So, still drinking my meals, Soup sounds soooo good
