Surgery date changed...ugh

Ok so I know its not much longer but my surgery date got changed from the 9th to the 29th. They said it was a possibility when they first told me about the 9th but they said it looked good. Well, got the news this morning that I will have to wait til the end of the month. It isn't that far away I know and I know the time will go quick but still can't help not being dissappointed. Oh well, pity party is done. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Mines was changed from June 11th to June 18th, so believe me I know how your feeling!

 I feel your disappointment  I was originally scheduled for the 9th too. But, my husband is in the Army and couldn't take leave at that time. And to make things worse, the doctor's office called me yesterday wanting to know if I was "sure" I didn't want the 9th, because the Doctor wanted me to do it then. UGGGGG.. It is so frustrating to get so close and have it changed. We can have a little group pity party

I know how you feel.  My surgery was cancelled on 06/03/09.  I have another appointment on 06/15/09 to find out if all my labs are OK for surgery and if they are, I will have surgery on 07/01/09 just two days after you!  I agree, lets stop the pity party and try to enjoy all of this nice weather...hopefully you are having nice weather where you are.  It will be the end of June in no time, Trust Me!!
