June 3 rebirth of a New woman

Yup June 3 I have a hot date with Dr. Stephen Mcnatt! I'm so excited I can't wait..Pre op date May 18..What should I expect?

WOOOOHOOOO!! Congrats! I'm Cynthia and I'm having surgery June 1st so were pretty close my pre-op is May 12 and I am bursting with excitement LOL!!

Hi! I am scheduled for 6-1-2009! I am totally excited. It is a huge step, but at least we are stepping in the right direction! Good luck to everyone! 

Not sure with Dr. McNatt, but I figure he and Fuzz have the same preop procedures. They will just take vitals, and some blood, then put ya in a room to wait on the anesthesiologist... I was there waitn a long while.... bring a book! When she did get there she just checked my throat and explained some things about that part of the procedure. Then had to give a urine sample..... Then they did an EKG checking my heart.
That was it.... no worries sweetie.... you will do great!

I'm scheduled for June 1st with Dr. Alvarez.  I start my pre-op liquid diet on May 11th.  Good luck to you and I'm super-excited, as well.

I am so excited for you! Pre-op is a "peice of cake" lol. I am sure you will do great!

 My date is set for June 4th (penciled in, could change a little). I have not yet met with the surgeon. Things seem a little odd in my route. I am getting a lapband. They had me meet with the nut first, who thankfully passed me and did not say i was a lune, then this coming wens (13th) I meet with an internest, have labs, ekg, pfts, ect. Then on Friday the 15th I meet with my doc. They said my paperwork should go in on the 18th and by the 19th we should have a response from the insurance. I work for the hospital and they said it already has a medical ness. listed on me so I shouldn't be turned down. I will then start my liquids on the 20th......and surgery then on June 4th. So my whole time frame from start of the process to end shouldn't be more than 5 weeks. I guess I am lucky! I just pray everything stays in line and I have no bumps in the road!!
