Hi Nicole,
I'm having the lap band and it took about 2 weeks for my approval from my insurance but they did tell me it could take up to 4 weeks and my schedule date for the surgery was included in the letter I received: scheduled for June 3rd.

Just wanted to chime in with my date. My surgery date is 6/4/08 at 8:00am in the morning. I can't wait to get doing. I have my NUT appt on 5/8/08 and my preop testing on 5/19/08.

No I have not. I go in the day before to do pre-op at his office and then the hospital. I am nervous as hell.

I will be having RNY on 6/2 at PRH. Dr Looser is my surgeon. I'm very happy to know it will actually be happening.
