I have not figured out this site totally - but I just figured out how to post on the message board. I have a date for lapband surgery of June 5th. I am excited and scared. My husband just had lapband done in October and is down over 70lbs. I hope I am as successful as he is - we are using different doctors and so far it is interesting how differently they do things. I hope anyone else with an upcoming date is doing well also.

congratulation!! we must live close 2 each other!! i go on June 2nd but i will be at Atl Med. It is amazing how someone can have all these different emotions about 1 life changing event!!

Not exactly the kinda "date with a doctor" most ppl would want

but it is the kinda date I wanted!!! JUNE 2nd; it seems so far away but so close at the same time!! Is there anyone else from the Atlanta area on here that is going through this also?? I would like to hear from anyone who would like to talk about wls or just wants a buddy 2 chat with!! good luck to those who are waiting still and congratulations to those who are ready to go!! I am looking for a support group near Forney, TX to attend before and after surgery. Since my surgeon is out of state he requires that I attend a support group and get a certificate of attendance before it can be scheduled. Can anyone please guide me in the right direction? Thank you for all of your help!
