Hi Tara, I'm just starting out myself I'm waiting for approval from my insurance company so that I can set a date. I'm having lapband surgery what kind are you having? I'm trying to lose weight before my surgery because my doctor said it would be better if I did. I've lost 2 lbs. so far. I look forward to hearing from you and get updates on how far you have come and I will do the same for you. If you ever need anyone to lean on I'm here. A good friend in VA.

Congrtulations on getting your date for surgery you are on your way. I' m still waiting on a date hopefully it will be around the middle of June. I'm having the lapband surgery because it fits better in my lifestyle. I'm also trying to lose some weight before surgery so far I have lost 2lbs you can do it to just have faith and keep your head up. Iwish you the best in your weight loss journey and if you every need someone to lean on just let me know I'm here for you. Hope to here from you soon. A good friend in VA.

Mine is also June 26th in Federal Way Washington. I am a little scared and excited also... 7 weeks from tomorrow.

i m feeling like i am not only starting a new chapter in my life but starting one for my twins , this should allow me to live long enough to see them become adults and be able to take care of them selfs

hi i only joined this great help place last week and have gotten some very very supportive e-mails but i also got 15-20 from oh that dont say anything just ads for the magazine is that normal or am i doing something wrong , not really that computer savey my big question was i have to be back at work in 1 week most of the feedback ive gotton say that should be fine because i have a desk job any comments? thanks frank

well i met my dr yesterday and she made me feel so much better , now i cant wait i wish june 10th was this week after all this waiting this last few weeks is going to go so slow im still kinda flipping out inside but i know its right for me and i know the time is now i cant wait anymore my 4 yr old twins deserve better than im able to give like this

Congratulations of the 7lbs! That's a great start for when you get your surgery date. I'm having the gastric bypass (RNY) at St Vincent Carmel Hospital, Dr. Diaz is my surgeon. I'll keep an eye for your surgery date posting... wishing you all the best, Linda

Well guys I will be joining the June group now. My surgery was rescheduled from May 27th to June 10th. I'm bummed out but hanging in there. I've waited this long.. what's 2 more weeks. :-l
