My date is the 24th too - we will be starting our new lives on that date! Good luck and you didn't chicken out, this is scary stuff, you were just taking care of yourself at that point in your life!

Topic: My surgery date is June 24
I am so happy and scared for this date. I have already been thru surgery 2 years ago have had lapband surgery. My band is not working, it is broken. I have opted to have gastric bypass surgery instead of replacing the band. I was not thrilled with the lapband at all. It was not the right surgery for me, but I feel like I chickened out and went with that surgery. I was nervous about the gastric bypass. Now I am more than ready. can't wait!!!

Hi everyone my name is Katie and I had an RNY last June 14th and have since lost about 135lbs..........I went from a size 26 in jeans to a size 11/12..........
If anyone has ANY questions on what to expect just let me know.......
I cant wait to see you guys start shrinking........

I'm scheduled on the 24th too Tina! Have fun with your new granddaughter! I just have the end of the school year to keep me occupied. Worst part is that this freaking Sacramento Valley heat has already started - 97 today! Keep good thoughts.

Just got back from my surgical consult and my new lifedate is June 24th! Thank you Dr. Waldrep, I'm counting the days. . . .
