You're right. I had a friend who went through all the hoops and the week before the told her she couldn't have it done because of a condition they knew about.
I was mad for her!

Are you having Lap Band? They say it is like having your gallbladder out. I had my gallbladder out in Feb. of this year. It really wasn't that bad. I am not going to lie, there was pain, but it wasn't anything that I couldn't handle without some pain medication. I am more excited then nervous.
It will be ok.

I still have 12 more days until surgery, but I start the 10 day high protein low carb diet required by my doctor, starting on Monday. Doing that is making me realize how close it really is to me making a total life change and having the surgery. I'm going through the second guessing my feelings about doing this surgery and thinking about all the vitamins I'm going to have to take. I still am going to do it, but my mind is starting to go a little bit crazy with the stuff that's going to happen in less than 2 weeks now! Can anyone else relate with me???? I have had two kids and also gone through having my gallbladder removed 13 yrs ago (when I was 15!), so this should be nothing for me!
I guess I'm just scared and happy about finally having one of my major struggles in life (my weight) helped and I will actually be skinny again one day soon! I can't believe it's finally going to happen. I have been battling my weight for almost 10 yrs and trying every diet out there and nothing has worked! And finally I know this will, with my hard work and this surgery, I will lose the weight that is "weighing" me down!

is that 1500 mg of CC and B12 each day or one of them just make sure to get that in a week? I didn't understand what you meant when you put weekly on those two. Just trying to clarify.
I asked my friend that had the surgery back in march with my doctor and she said they didn't clarify how much of each vitamin you need at the pre-op class, but then again she didn't ask. I'm going to ask at my class though, just to make sure. Thanks!!

My surgery is June 10. My birthday is the 13th, so I guess it's SF jello with a candle stuck in it for me this year. I can't wait for future skinnier birthdays though. Good Luck to you & keep us updated on your progress.
