Topic: Surgery on June 25th ? Anyone else?
I just found out last week. It seems like I just got started. Thank you Lord for not letting it drag out. My BMI is high and I now have the challenge of the 2 weeks liquid diet before surgery. I hope some of you have some helpful hints and suggestions to help me through the next two weeks. I notice a lot of you will be having surgery very soon. I know you will all do great. My surgery date is the 25th. They just turned in my surgical request a couple of weeks ago. I was approved the next day. Now I have a date. I am starting to feel overwhelmed with everything I have to remember. I start my liquid diet on Friday. Does anyone have any recommendations an which protein drink is best? Anyway, I am so grateful there are quite a few of us starting the new road at the same time. We can keep each other motivated. I have been living with osteo arthritis, high blood pressure, osteoporis, and just recently asthma. If WLS will help even one of these problems I will feel blessed. Prayers and blessings to you all that have procedures this week. We will stay tuned to hear how you are getting on.

Tomorrow is the big day. I getting on the table at 9AM and we'll see how it goes. Of course i just found out this past week that I was going to have to stay overnight due to ins. requrements...

what type of surgery did you have on 11-09-08? I am having a revision surgery done on June 24. My first surgery was on 8-3-06. I had lapband surgery, my band is not working. Best of luck...Debbie
