Hi, I've had a difficult time being Holyface's angel. I've been without power, phone, and computer due to storms in Kansas. Makes it hard to make contact lol. I have all back now and I have an update. I spoke with Holly's mother and she said Holly is having kind of a rough time. She is running a fever and is taking meds for that and not feeling too great. However, she was walking and was actually out on a walk when I called. Her mother said they told her to walk twice and she has walked 4 times instead. So, my guess is Holly is going to give it one hell of a fight! I'll update again tomorrow.

Hi Sam, Congratulations! I am going next Tuesday 6-10-08 for the lap band. I am also nervous and excited I am on the protein diet and boy its duff, but I figure its preparing me for the after diet. Sometimes this isnt bad and then there are others its harder..... lol go figure. I am a little concerned because I only planned a week from work and from what I am reading, I should plan two. Which is ok, because I have surgery on Tuesday and plan to be back the next Tuesday, so if I have to take Tues - Friday that should be ok, just that I was out most of last year for 6 surgies. So, I am trying to earn my sick time back. Sorry to ramble on, good luck on getting prepare for the surgery!! Will be thinking, praying for you, that it will go well and that you will have a speedy recovery!

Unfortunately my surgery has been rescheduled for June 30th. I got a virus and they won't do it now. So I start the waiting game again. Awhile go on vacation first and recoupe the rest of the summer. Salena

I have one more day on the liquid and then surgery. I am dreading the pre op preparation more than anything... Plus I absolutely have to work at least 1/2 day Thurs to complete some work before siurgery on Friday. The liquids really haven't been too bad except a couple of times I could feel myself getting kinda of hard to get along wtih and had to take a step back.

How exciting. .I honestly believe that the shorter the wait the easier. Good luck on the low cal diet. My procedure is set for the 25th. I'm not sure I would be sane if they move mine up. Will be keeping you in our thoughts.
