In a private pool maybe. I would check with the dr. It is worth a call to ask. You really do not want an infection.

My info goes to the insurance company on Friday, June 27 for approval.
Please pray that it goes through quickly. I hope to have surgery by the second week of August so I have recovery time before I go back to work the first week of September.

Topic: Help with weight gain
It has been 4 years since my bypass and in the last year I have put on 80 pounds. I'm not really eating any differently, if anything better than ever...veggies, fish, exercise, etc. Even though I am not up to my original weight, I am heading that direction quickly. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can you have a second bypass?

CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss. That's great. I think I"m getting enough protein. At least as much as I can eat. I'm still not very hungry, so I "force" myself to eat (what a switch).
Did you have good energy on your first day back?

Hi everyone. I know I am new here and don't know everyone and not sure if I am putting this in the right place. I didn't have time to post things in the reg. boards and get to know everyone. I was just letting people know that I will be going in for my tt and hernia surgery tomorrow up at ST Francis in Hartford. My angle on here is Julie N(julien64 i think). You can find her in RI forums. She will have any updates on me. I am looking forward to it but and little scared at the same time but I guess that is to be expected.

Hi I also had my bypass on the 10th ive slept on my side/belly since coming home the 12th as far as being run down are you getting enough protien? I went back to work last Tuesday and today was my first drs. Appointment and first weigh in I lost 22.4 lbs in 14 days and I feel 20 yrs younger and even better no more meds good luck frank

Hi im 10 days out after bypass and ive had a couple of burping attacks but they end soon keep drinking your water and full fliuds and youll be fine frank
