Went to a GI in St. Louis and he thinks it could be an ulcer in my stomach...not the pouch that the doctor left for me, but the part that was bypassed (did I say that right?)
Anyone else have any experiences similar to mine? It started out when I cheated and ate fatty or fried foods but lately anything and everything causes pain.
Thanks!
My original 'big' weight was 286. My weight today is 129.6! I have maintained this for over 2 years. Admittadly (sp?) it's been a stuggle. But even though I STILL have osteoarthritis and lots of joint pain in my hips and lower back (two herniated discs)....I KNOW for a FACT I have delayed many, many surgeries because of weight loss. Not to mention,,,,NO MORE CPAP or walking with two canes or a walker or someone holding my arm!!!!
AND I have a LAP for my grandchildren AND ADULT Children to sit on an cuddle and have Mommy/Gramma time! Precious to no end!
And My Hubba Wubbins....Oh MY Lanta!!!! Even with arthritis....we can find the way~~~ LOL
Don't mean to be graphic...
Four years have gone by so fast!!! I've started six support groups that are going strong and I am so lucky enough to visit members every week who have had ANY weight loss surgery!
I can't even begin to tell you how much I get paid from this! I do it all volunteerily and have to say...NO one can pay me enough monetarily! I love my life!
Thank you for all your support through out the years. I love you all so much! I can NOT make it without YOUR inspiration!
Thanks so much for ALWAYS being here for me!
Happy 4th Surgiversary!!!

Hi June 08 surgery folks,
I'm inviting you to a little group to help those (yes, including myself) who have gained 10 or more pounds beyond that lowest weight. We are calling it the "Drop 10 for 10 Challenge". You can easily join this group by going to www.obesityhelp.com/group/Drop10410. I'm hoping that with your help we can generate a little excitement and enthusiasm for getting back on track. We will have a monthly weighin, but it will only be pounds off since the start of the new 2010 decade. Your participation is only what you want to make it. I'm pumped up and ready to get back on track for 2010.
There are no hard and fast rules for joining, but you really should be at least 10 pounds above your lowest post-surgery weight and interested in getting things back in line.
Let's get this new decade off to a great start.

Start Wt: 347 -- Lowest: 191 -- Current: 216.2 -- Goal: 197

Is there anyone else out there who would like to get this forum going again?
Your weight loss is great and if your doc. isn't worried about your levels I don't think it's that big a deal. Are you taking all of your vitamins and supplements?
About feeling un-satisfied even when you're full...that is something that is hard to deal with and you may not be able to do it on your own. If you can, find a WLS support group or even a psychotherapist who specializes in eating disorders. You don't want to go on like this or you'll end up ruining your "tool." You have to get to the root of the problem, what void are you trying to fill with food? I don't think you're abnormal you just need to get the right help as soon as you can. :) take care of yourself!
I am having the same issues. I am much further out than you almost a year. DR says I'm overfilled. However, I have had three removals and not much relief. I have had x-rays and esophagram. Both were normal. I puked or pbed on jello. Ii am frustrated with them telling me I take too big of a bite or that I eat too fast. I am making sure I follow the rules. I hope you get some answers. Let me know may be it will help me.
