From what I hear, heating pads, walking and gas-x are the keys to relieving gas. I have a little bit but not much gas pain. My problem is pain where the port is attached to the muscles. Lap bander, not bypass.

I had my bypass on Jun 5 and came home yesterday. I had not felt the gas pain till last night, and boy did I feel it. I took about 3 gas-x strips in the middle of the night and I got up and walked a bit a few minutes ago. I am back in the recliner now with a heating pad on, but am still hurting some. My pain is in my farthest left incision where I had to get stiched. It's 3 days out for me and I still have a very hard time getting up, sitting down,. etc....I am in so much pain.
