Surgery June 3rd. I can't wait!

I am looking to getting things going. I would love to hear from anyone who is having surgery around the same time.

hi im having it done june 10th and i go from cant wait to scared to death with am i doing the right thing? i know i need this to live for my little ones but will i be happy without food i love food im driving myself crazy and i know i love my kids a lot more than food

Frank, Are you having Lap Band? They say it is like having your gallbladder out. I had my gallbladder out in Feb. of this year. It really wasn't that bad. I am not going to lie, there was pain, but it wasn't anything that I couldn't handle without some pain medication. I am more excited then nervous. It will be ok. Margie

hi i cant wait either, im the 10th im having bypass not lap band ive had a couple of back operations in the past im more concerned about after ie. not being able to eat, getting in enough water & protien i really need this to be there for my twins but i really love food and keep haveing 2nd thoughts about am i about to ruin the rest of my life ? but as much as i love food i love my twins 10 times more so thats that!! right? done!!!!! thanks for your time good luck and god bless we will be the tuesday folks ill be 1 week behind you thanks again frank

I am scheduled for 11am on June 3rd in Baltimore. Very anxious and a bit nervous. I guess this is normal considering the cir****tances. Here's a wish of good luck to you on your day too!

Hi, My date is June 3rd as well with Dr. Higa in Fresno. I am not scheduled until 3 PM so I have all day to think about it ! I really wish I had an early appointment, however I am gratefull it is at least getting done. Some people never get the chance you know. Best of luck to you ! Kim B

Kin, You're right. I had a friend who went through all the hoops and the week before the told her she couldn't have it done because of a condition they knew about. I was mad for her! Good Luck
