that's great!
I haven't even hit the 100lb mark yet... Do you count from your highest weight or from your surgery date weight. If it's my surgery day weight, i'll never hit 100lbs (i was 212.5 the day of surgery) but if you count when i first started the program at my hospital, i was 242lbs at my highest. I'm teetering between 145 - 148. My goal was 130-135 so i'm not sure if i'll ever get there. i've stayed the same the last couple of months. I'm eating more, but i'm more active. I don't think i'm eating too much or anything, just more than i was eating.
Topic: Blood work.....
was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had my yearly physical on Monday and we decided to just do the whole blood work profile that my surgeon asked for at my 6 months and everything was GREAT! In fact, my PCP wrote a note on my results and was very impressed as my B12 and Folate were high and those are the ones they worry about being low after WLS. I must be doing something right!
Okay, I got a call this morning from my pcp and she said that my Vitamin A came back a little low. I'm at 35 and normal is 38-40 something. So, not too bad, but she said my surgeon may have me start taking a liquid vitamin A when I have my one year check up.
But......WOW! I was thrilled with those results!

Topic: Well, finally.....
I have reached over 120 pounds weight loss! Can you believe it???????????
I am just floored! It was fabulous to get on the scale this morning and see 180.5....that means I've lost 120.3 lbs in just under a year! I had been stalled for so long and have recently kicked my water intake back up. I've been slacking quite a bit....yesterday, I started tracking it again and I drank 133 ounces. I hadn't weighed myself for a few days, so not sure when I moved the needle on the scale, but I did! WHEW! I feel fabulous!
Thank you to all of you for your incredible journeys and inspiration that it was doable.
Pam

Woohoo for YOU! In my book you'll always be twice the person (not half) just not in physical size! What a big heart you have!
Hope you have a great family weekend planned and can enjoy yourself...
Topic: RE: How's This?
Well, the golf game is today and the date is Monday - I'll have to compare the 2!
Topic: RE: BETTER
Glad to hear that. But you I think that since we are thinner we recoup easier/better.. or at least with all the weight and it's issues we think we do. I know my therapists kept insisting I was rushing things. But every thing just feels so much better.
Don't do to much and make yourself sick.
A size 4.. my goodness. Keep up the good work. Alice
