Good for you!! I think that all of us are a little low on Vit D.. the sunshine vitamin.. I have not been takeing mine like I should.

I wore a 56inch waist pants
I wore a 5x Shirt
I weighed 400 pounds
I was huge
I was depressed
I was not alive
Today
I have a 38 inch waist
I wear an XL or L
I weigh 194 pounds
I don't look bad at all
I am happy
I am alive!

Congratulations on your 103lbs of weight loss! I also had severe hair loss so at the recommendation of my nutritionist, I took Biotin supplements and she also recommended Zinc supplements. It helped a lot. I started noticing new hair growth after about a month of taking the supplements. (I only took Biotin because I couldn't stomach any more than those along with my normal WLS vitamins at one time.) Best of luck to you

Today I had my 1 year checkup. My vitamin D was low and my iron was normal but in the low range. So my doctor has recommended I take iron and vitamin D supplements.
My surgeon was very pleased with my weight loss. I am down 116 pounds since my surgery. I feel great and I am so happy that I decided to have the surgery.
