Congratulations on your surgiversary date! You have done so very well this past year.
I also need the continued support of all of you here. We have come so far on our journey's and still have so far to go.
I have been busy the past couple of weeks with my daughter's trial in NJ, her graduation from HS (with honors..says the proud momma!) Fathers Day and Gulity verdict day celebrations that I am pooped!
This Saturday I am going to a meet and greet in Fredericksburg VA. I will post pics on my profile.

One year ago today. I was reborn. What a journey I have had. Absolutely only positives. From 284.. at my highest.. to 175.. on my 5'2"..63 year old body.
No more back/leg pain.. so much energy .. my knee replacement surgery was a piece of cake.. with minimum pain and recooperation. I could go on and on.
I want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement. You are all wonderful.
Lets continue to keep in touch..PLEASE??? Good luck to all of you in your journey. Alice

My surgeon interviewed my husband before he did my surgery. (This is husband #2, we celebrate our 10th anniversary on Sat.) They discussed how my husband would feel when I was thin. I guess many men can't handle the change well.
This is the new healthy you and you do not need negative people or an unsupportive partner. The issue lies with him.
Enjoy your new lease on life and a marriage ending may lead to wonderful new opportunities...it did for me!
Good luck.
Topic: RE: Soft Seats
I don't have the same trouble as you but I NEED TO SIT ON SOFT SEATS!! Since I lost my weight, my tailbone sticks out and can be quite painful when I sit on anything firm.... OUCH!
I also lost pretty much hair, but it is back and fine now, Thank God! I didn't want to finally be thin and then be bald too!!
Good Luck.... Linda Clark

Hi,
My one year anniversary is the same date as you! Congratulations!!
I know what you mean about it getting hard after the first 6 months. It's bad when the appitite comes back... I am 60 years old and my goal was a realistic 150 lbs. BUT...Now that I am hungry again, I struggle to keep it at 150...
Last night I went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate. They bought me a dozen roses and they made my day!!
Congratulations on OUR anniversary!!
Linda Clark
