Congrats to you! I can't wait for my hair to stop falling out. Combing my wet hair is the worst, it comes out in clumbs, and I didn't have much to loose to begin with, but hey; so far it's be worth it!

Well I THINK my hair loss may be slowing down..... fingers crossed.
It didnt really start until late summer and for the most part wasnt too bad, but the last month or so it has been coming out in clumps. SO bad that I had to clear the shower drain every second day, it was hard to wash my hair because the hair was all caught around my fingers and tangled in my rings. There was hair EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. But now for the last week, there isnt even ANY hair in the drain and what is coming out in my hands is minimal. So hopefully its passing because it was becoming a real PITA!!

congrats on your first dumping aint its awsome lol. i buy ice cream i get the dryers sugar free and i do fine, but thats the only thing oh and you guys they make aswome sugar free cool whip and sugar free pumpkin pie. i missed the monday weigh in dammit, but i go to a post op check up today and i weighed the other day and i should hopefully be right at 200 today but i am on my period so cross your fingers for me that i am at excatly 200 that would be 91 lbs gone forever. ill let you know tonight

Haven't been on this board for a while because I was getting too depressed about not having the RNY results but I'm curious to see how bandsters that had surgery the same month as me are doing. I'm down about 60 lbs. How are you doing?

I've had SF ice cream and have no trouble with it. I only take a
few bites before I'm uncomfortable, but don't dump. Don't have
it very often though, just don't really desire it. To me, it's too
sweet now.

Well since I am Canadian we celebrated Thanksgiving in October....
We went first to my parents on the Sunday and then on the Monday I cooked a dinner and we had friends over.
I found one of the secrets is to use a small plate. I did that at my parents and I took a small amount of everything except stuffing. I was able to eat it.
The next night at our own house I automatically set the table with all the same size plates...MISTAKE. I took more than I can eat, which was no big deal I just stopped eating. The second night I did have a small bit of stuffing...just enough to taste and a tiny tiny slice of pumpkin pie and I do mean tiny. I got enough to taste and all was well.
All in all it went Ok and it was a nice change to eat something different. I even enjoyed the left overs the next night, just kept the portions small.
I am off to Vancouver for a couple days with Daughter...she is having a check up at Childrens hospital. I wish all my American Friends a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

I didn't lose at all last week - but that's ok. I know that stalls are normal and I'll take 110 pounds in less than 5 months!
