Topic: FOUR YEARS coming up!
Good afternoon, evening, morning, whenever you read this... ;)  Brian here, and almost four years out.

I have a question for all of you.  After three years, it seems I have found my cross addiction.  The docs warned me about it... bzzzt.  The psychologist?  bzzzzt.   The counselors?  bzzzzzzzt.  The support groups?  BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT.   They all said, find something healthy to fill the hole, but aparently, I found alcohol... yeah.  After a stint in detox, I am in treatment now, learning how not to hide from the things that I self medicatred for.  And it is tough.  It's easier than I thought, but having to step up to the plate and say "I can't think it through, can't logic it, and I knew what was out there.  I just was ... well, arrogant"  Now I am trying to make my way through it...

How bout y'all???

Happy thoughts and big well wishes
Brian

Topic: problems eating meat 3 yrs post op
I am still having issues when I eat meat!  After the first few bites I can't eat anymore... I have to wait about 3-5 min and then I can eat again.  I usually get side tracked and forget to go back to the meat... then I am hungry and go for the carbs/something sweet to soothe my stomach.  I am gaining weight and frustrated... I am bored with meals, nothing sounds good! Any ideas?? I have come this far and don't want to go back to pre WLS weight!

I'm sorry to hear about your insurance and your boob issue- I have quite the opposite problem; I never had a big chest and it's the first place I lose weight, and I still have about 40lbs to go and Im nervous that when I get there I wont have anything left! Are you trying for a lift or a reduction?

Just want to ask too, how would you be considered obese? Your tracker looks like you're at about 170? That doesn't seem OBESE..

Topic: Calories?

Hi guys! It has been a long time since I have been on here. I had a baby about 18 months ago and started gaining weight shortly after his birth. I am now trying to get back on track. Does anyone know what is the average amount of calories we should be getting everyday? I have heard anywhere from 800-1200. Any ideas? Thank you for any advice!
