My daddy always told me you are only as old as you feel, your age is just another number. He is 70 and keeps up with my brother who is 38.
At least you kids remember, and you will see this as a funny memory in years to come.

TOMORROW IS MY 40TH BIRTHDAY............UGGGGGHHH 
OK......i don't feel 40 and people say I don't look 40
BUT OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM GOING TO BE 40??????????????????????????

I told my husband this year (not that he will listen) that I really don't want anything...and I said to him that I mean it.....this year God has been sooooo good to us...
i had this surgery and am only 15lbs from my ultimate goal.
we built a new home (my dream home)
we bought all new appliances:range,over the oven microwave,dishwasher,refrigerator and washer and dryer
I got my jacuzzi tub in my bathroom...(lol)
we bought a new bedroom set and mattress along with the matching armoure
we bought a new lcd high definition tv for the family room
not to mention all the other little odds and ends
i have boughten new clothes
I really don't need a thing I have beautiful jewelry already
All my children are healthy and home
My parents are in good health and live close by
i have a successful career
God has just been good good good to us............
i really don't lack for anything and I am so thankful for that, i did struggle for years,there were times when it was just me and the kids and we didn't have money for food......bills all overdue etc.
so i am really thankful and grateful for all that i have......i hope everyone gets what they want for christmas and i hope we all remember those who have helped us and pass the love along to someone else.

6 months ago today I hade my WLS......
Happier and smiling more than I ever thought I would.
I am down 135 lbs
I can wear a lot of my 15 year old daughter clothes, and many of my husband's t shirts
I get to buy new clothes ever couple weeks.
I never imagined being able to resist sweets and junk food the way I can.
My GP, who didn't want to give me a referral for WLS, because he didn't believe in it, told me how impressed he was, and his MOA said she was proud of me.
My Husband has always called me Little B, because I was so much shorter than him, he has started calling me, Little Little B
My pants labels no longer start with an X
I am only 17 lbs from having lost my daughter (she weighs 152 lbs)
I am on my third swim suit since August; I keep shrinking out of them.
In restaurants I no longer have to push the table back to fit into a booth, there is at least 8 inches left.
The steering wheel in my truck that used to rub on my belly is now 6 inches away.
I sleep comfortably through the night
I have lost a lot of hair, but I can live with that.
I used to have great boobs, now I just have the bags they came in
I actually make up reasons to go for a walk, and will opt to walk places I normally drive. Like the bank, movies and even shopping at Zellers.
When I go places I quite am no longer the biggest one in the room which was usually the case.
Did I say..Happier and smiling more than before?

just to be happy and merry, and to spend time with my family, theres nothen more that I really want I had my surgery so I am happy with that, I have lost 100 lbs that was my x-mas wish, now just to loose 50 more huuuuhhh

Same here... just when I think I'll never get to goal the scale will move a little more. I've had several of these stalls and I don't sweat it too much as I'm still shrinking in inches. This month I've upped my run to 1.5 miles and I've increased my weight on my weight training exercises. Hopefully that will get things moving again.
