Well actually, it isn't October I hate.  It is my weakness.
As usual one of the Local grocery chains had a one day sale on Halloween candy on sale.. I DID NOT RESIST!!
Now I live in a Over 55 complex where we get NO trick or treaters. So guess who found ot that they could eat a WHOLE bag of MINI Milky Way bars.
The others will go to my G GIRL today.  But DARN DARN IT!!  Why am I so weak?
The scale sure shows  the difference this morning.
  Thanks for listening!!  Alice

Alice, don't be too hard on yourself.........just dust off your feet and realize that today is A NEW DAY!!! Try to resist the temptation of giving into the lusts of our flesh (that evil candy)

but our weight loss is just a tool (like you haven't heard that a 10000 times) and we truely are the victims of our own desires........if we desire to eat it it we will...if we desire not to we wont.............

Only we can make those choices and if we mess up one day ..........we do know that tomorrow is just another day to make right choices.

We love you girl and all are here to support one another....NOW LEAVE THAT HALLOWEEN CANDY ALONE!!!! (SMILE)

(((((((((HUGS TO YOU))))))))))

 Alice,

One slip won't hurt you.... just get back into your normal routine and don't look back.  This surgery didn't affect our brains... so it is very easy to slip back into bad habits.  I think the key is knowing when we do and correct ourselves.  So don't beat up on yourself too much.... just get back on track.

We are always here to help.... and we all know what you are going through.

Take care.... and no more candies this season :)

Alice,

Crystal is soooo right. The biggest difference between people who maintain their weight and those who don't is that when people who maintain their weight go off the deep end once in a while, it's a once in a while thing. They dust themselves off, make the appropriate adjustments and lose the couple of pounds they put on before it gets out of hand. 'l'll bet that there are plenty of folks that over indulge a bit during the holidays. The good thing is that you recognized the over indulgence, you are taking actions to ensure that you aren't going to continue the over indulgence and you can take corrective actions to manage any damage you might have done before it gets out of hand. You can do this.

Hang in there!
