Day 5 of my 5 day pouch test
Well it is the evening of day 5.... ( for those of you following my REBOOT thread) I lost 5.5 lbs since Monday when I started and a total of 7 lbs since last Friday.
I found the test surprisingly easy..I was panicing last weekend thinking Id never be able to do a whole day of just liquids, never mind two of them. (Old habits die hard) I guess I was remembering the horror of the enitre month I was on liquids when I first had the RNY.
Having only the proteins added Day 3, 4 and 5 kept me surprisingly full. I would sit down thinking I was going to eat ..this..this and this and only be able to eat the first thing and maybe half the second thing. I already knew but needed the reminder that solid protein really is the way to go.
My weight as of this morning was 166 lbs. My goal weight (revised in the last 6 months) is 160... I can taste it now....(Pun intended)
Tomorrow I am off on a camping vacation alone with my husband....
Lots of outdoor activities....and hopefully more weight loss.
