Hi everyone, I just had to share with you all. After 1 year and 120 pounds lost.... I now find myself on a different journey. I am going to be a MOM!! I am due at the end of January. After about 15 years of wanting a child, I can't believe this is finally happening. I thought for sure that with PCOS, I would never be able to conceive. This surgery is just amazing!! I saw my surgeon and my nutritionist and they both say I will be great. My labs are good, I am in great shape, and with the amount of weight that I have lost, they both are happy with the results I have achieved. My OB isn't concerned at all about the pregnancy, even with me being 38 years old.... so that was also a relief. She said that I am in such good health, that I wouldn't be considered high risk at all. Good luck to all the others wanting to start a family Post-op Sherri
