hey everyone.....I know I havent been posting AT ALL, but Ive just been busy and maybe slightly avoiding this board because I have been being BAD!! I have been snacking snacking snacking on EVERYTHING!! It wouldnt be such a problem if it wasnt things like french fries and chips!! I was even drinking diet SODA !! I have even gained a couple of pounds recently and havent lost any in like 2 or more months! I am pretty much at my "goal" but I would love to loose about 15 more pounds........before I get cosmetic surgery in the fall...... I started my protein shakes again and Ive been drinking nothing bu****er during the day and just eating a "good" dinner. I really need some good ideas for simple snacks I should and could be eating.......

I eat jerky, SF popsicles, sf pudding with protein powder mixed in, nuts, soy nuts, Chocolate Snack Crunchies by Smartforme.com. Step away from the soda. And don't stay away cause you've fallen off the wagon...that is one of the reasons we are here...

Pistachio nuts; LF/low carb yogurt with extra unflavored protein powder + fresh fruit added; NSA fudgsicles; SF instant Jello pudding with extra unflavored protein powder and topped with fresh fruit; and (darned that Buffy again!) LC lite cheese on TJ's flat bread crackers. I also recently found Santa Barbara brand salsa (REALLY chunky tomatoes and onions, less sauce) and use soy crisps as scoops. REALLY hard to avoid mindlessly eating this though so I only get it as an appetizer to take to someone else's house. My real indulgence snack is those extra large pimento stuffed green olives from the olive bar at the grocery - I have to limit myself to buying only 8-12 at a time then portion them out 2 at a time for a snack at work. I significantly upped my protein to about 130-140 g/day a couple of months ago and find that if I concentrate on that, I'm really full and only have to deal with head hunger on weekends. During the week with work and exercise, by the time I get home, cook and eat dinner, I'm stuffed and too tired to snack. Keep trying - our motivations come and go; we can't be 100% consistent day in and day out. Cleo
