Soft Seats

Does anyone have this problem? When I sit on a soft chair or soft seat in a booth and eat I get pains in my stomach and the dry heaves. If I sit in a stright chair or hard chair I'm fine. I had my surgery (by-pass) in October of 2007 and have lost 103 lbs. and heading for another one hundred. I have to spell that out because if I put the numbers in I 'm afraid it looks impossible to loose one hundred more! Also, I have lost LOTS of my hair, will it grow back and if so how long will it take and is there anything to aid this growth?

Congratulations on your 103lbs of weight loss! I also had severe hair loss so at the recommendation of my nutritionist, I took Biotin supplements and she also recommended Zinc supplements. It helped a lot. I started noticing new hair growth after about a month of taking the supplements. (I only took Biotin because I couldn't stomach any more than those along with my normal WLS vitamins at one time.) Best of luck to you

Ella, Thank you so much for your reply. Do you remember how much of the Biotin and Zinc you took? The recomended dose or more? Like I said, fat with hair or normal and bald!!! I feel much better this summer than last. First summer I have not had to buy larger bottoms and tops in quit afew years. It's a wonderfull feeling and I have to keep that in mind about how I felt before. Thank you again. Amy

I don't have the same trouble as you but I NEED TO SIT ON SOFT SEATS!! Since I lost my weight, my tailbone sticks out and can be quite painful when I sit on anything firm.... OUCH! I also lost pretty much hair, but it is back and fine now, Thank God! I didn't want to finally be thin and then be bald too!! Good Luck.... Linda Clark

Hi Linda, Thank you for your input. You must have really lost some serious weight. That is great!! My dry heaves have stopped, I just wonder if I had something like a peel of something caught in my stomach. If it should start again I will call the doctor. So glad to hear your hair came back in, I sure hope mine does. I laughed because I feel the same way, not thin and bald. I keep checking to see if it's coming back in every day!! Again thanks . After about 3 months of hair loss, I noticed very fuzzy hairs around my hair line. My hairdresser said that was the beginning of my hair regrowth. Yes, I would call your doctor if you continue to have your stomach problem... Have a GREAT DAY!
