a wow... =)

Ok...... so last weekend was my birthday (May 10th) and I went to dinner with my kids. At the end of dinner, my daughter told the waitress it was my birthday and she brought out the dessert tray. So my kids and I decided to split one thing 4 ways. That way I get a bite =) So anyway....... the waitress brings our reeses cup cheesecake to the table and says to me "Happy Birthday.... and Happy Mother's Day, if you have kids". I looked at her and said.... "Ummmmm these are my kids" She looked at me REALLY puzzled and said you're not old enough for those to be your kids. Normally, I would just think she was trying to get a bigger tip. But she came back and my daughter's boyfriend was taking a picture of us, so she offered to take one with him in it. She looked at me really funny again and said...... "umm how old are your kids?" I've also seen a few people I graduated high school with recently and they usually say... "OMG you still look just like you did in highschool" I've always looked a little younger, but I guess the added fat was still covering up a few years. Because now people are guessing I'm in my 20s. I just turned 37.... =) Mel T

haha!! I tipped her 20$ and thanks for the compliments. I'm feeling a lot younger and loving it. Although.... my kids aren't lovin it so much that people think I'm their sister. =)

Congrats and happy belated birthay! I have gotten a few comments about not being old enough to have the kids I do... And people that know me have been telling me that I look younger... I always thought fat people looked younger because the fat smoothed out the wrinkles????? LOL Shows what I know... Becky
