PRAISE THE LORD! I am finally in a size 14. My weight has been stuck for the last couple of months, but my size is finally changing. I have been in a 16 forever...well, what seems like forever. I keep watching other people get smaller and smaller and have at times been almost jealous. So happy for the person, but so sad for me. I've gotten what I went into this surgery for.... health, no pills, ability to breathe and walk....so now, anything else is a bonus. Like those bonuses! Pam

go Pam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! congratulations, it isn't always easy watching lots of people be size 8 and size 6 but you are right, good health is the key and the rest is a bonus! Don't buy too many pairs though, the smaller you get the fewer pounds it takes to change sizes!! congrats!! judi

Thanks Judi! I have been sooo frustrated with everything sitting the same for the last couple months. So glad to see some progress. I just had to remind myself that I attained my goals of good health and that is what was important. I also try to remember that I'm a shortie and I'm not going to get smaller like taller people. Like I said though, I do like to see the bonuses. Love ya girl!

Congratulations!!! Size 14! I am so happy for you...and you are right...the size we can now wear is just a bonus. Being healthy without medication and able to walk and climb stairs is the real goal. Congrats again. Elizabeth

Way to go Pam! You are right, health first! I hear you on the size 14 though, sometimes it takes forever to drop a size. Enjoy!

Definately did feel like forever. But I would have to say, I guess thinking back I was in a 30-32 much longer than the 16's. *S*

Some day's my 12's are a bit too baggy but I don't think I could fit into a 10 yet. And if I don't, well that's OK! I also got what wanted out of my RNY...better health. No diabetes meds, and off a host of other meds that I took for years. I still have high blood pressure and some depression/anxiety issues and that's OK. We had company come around New Years. We went to a local museum with them and I climbed the stairs without even thinking about it. When I got to the top I realized that all other times I took the elevator up. What a great feeling! I'm loving my tool! Jen
