new goal???
Funny you should ask as I was just about ready to post about this anyway...
So I was laying in bed last night and I felt something hard at the top of my butt... I went to feel under the sheet to see what my daughter had stuck in there, but no - nothing there except my bony a**. Literally, I could feel all the bones in my spine and my ****yx (tailbone). Then I felt my pelvis bones, my ribs, and my collarbones and I suddenly realized that I am starting to get too skinny. I never thought I would hear myself say those words, but I believe I have reached that point. It actually scared me a little bit and I promptly decided to change my goal.
Surgeon's goal for me was 124#
My original personal goal was 115#
My 1st revised personal goal was 110#
My 2nd revised personal goal was 100#
My new personal goal is 105# and I'm at 106# this morning so basically I want to stay where I'm at right now. I'm going to start maintenance eating (which I have to figure out) and hope that I don't lose any more.
I'm also going to beef up my weight training routine and try to build some muscle mass - hoping that will help prevent me from actually looking sick. I did this surgery to be healthy, not twiggy!
Sigh... this girl is just never happy huh?
Bekah
I was 300 pounds now @ 7 mo. I am at 166. My orginal goal was 150. Now that I am only 16 pounds away I think 140. we will see. Apprently my height has increased by over an inch strange huh? Doc said it happens sometimes espacailly with us youn'in (25) becuase we were slouching so bad with all the weight so adding the extra inch into the BMI calculator may change my goal to. We will see.
