OT-Tonsillectomy
Ok I have been so bad about being online lately it is sad...I am extreamly sorry I haven't read 1 post in probably almost a month....But I need some advice (imagine that). I had my tonsils out Monday and I am miserable It hurts to talk, swallow etc which isn't a surprise but I have not eating anything and I have not been able to take any of my vitamins and I can't get even 20oz of liquid in a day if I try to drink more than a little bit I :vomit: I can drink enough to get a little bit of water down and my pain medicine (which sometimes comes back up also) and I am just tired of feeling horrible, please tell me it will get better, this is worse than having my bypass and as you all know my surgery didn't go like flying colors...I'm not sure what to do. Thanks and God Bless, I've missed ya'll
thanks for all the replies...I called the Doctor on call (the one that did my surgery was unavailable) and this guy said that the nausea is probably from the Hydrocodone and to just take regular tylenol...well I did that and it did nothing! So anyway he told me not to worry about "eating" and to just make sure I am getting a lot of fluids but I am not sure about this because I haven't ate (I have, just not been able to keep it down) since last tuesday and I haven't had a BM since last Sunday and sometimes I feel like I have to pee and I sit there it takes me like 10 minutes (If I'm lucky) to urinate it frustrating. So I am going to give myself till Thursday and if I'm not feeling/doing better I am going to call my doctors office and ask to talk to him.
