SOOOO COLD!!!!!

Well I was expecting to be cold, I'd read about it many times....but holy cats I am freezing!!!. I can't seem to wear enough layers, Last night while watching TV my nose was so cold it was dripping. We have a electric bed pad and my husband always turns it on for me before we go to bed, but last night it wasn't cutting it, When I first got into bed I whined so much Im sure he was ready to smother me with the pillow. Everyday I search for something warm to wear, this morning I went through my sons closet and am currently wearing one of his sweatshirts. I have on my husbands big woolen winter socks inside my slippers. Earlier this week I was in Extra foods and my hands were so cold I couldn't concentrate on what I was doing, I had to take a pair of gloves off the sale table and wear them. I bought them and am now keeping them in my purse. Now I have been in all the stores, WalMart, Zellers etc, wearing my gloves...LOL When I came up stairs this morning I was complaining to my daughters aide that I was so cold and I think I had better call the furnace guy cause I don't think the furnace is working properly. She told me I didn't need to, the house was very warm, she had really noticed a difference this winter from last winter....Sometimes she is so hot when she is here she has to take layers off. My daughter agreed and said its Wayyyy too warm in here. This would explain the very large Teresen Gas bill last month....LOL So all these years my family has been freezing, because I was so hot I wouldn't turn the heat up too high, now this year they are all cooking...LOL Guess in the big picture I'd rather be cold, then too hot?? Can always put on more layers...right? Wonder how hard it would be to convince my Hubby to move to the tropics? Becky

I'm with you Becky. My hands are like icicles. I bought some heated gloves to plug into my computer but it is a pain! I bought some Cuddleduds, silk long undies. Those are pretty warm thanks, judi

OMG Becky I totally FEEL YOU..............i have been sooooo cold I think everyone is so sick of me saying i am freezing they want to secretly put me out of my misery.... We do a weekly tour at our real estate office and view the new homes we have listed this week because of last week a couple of the girls in my office bought me and put in my mailbox at work those little padded things that warm your feet and your hands............LOL i almost died when i went back to check my mailbox and there was all this warmer stuff in my box. they do work!!!!!!! i comehome from work i take a hot hot bath then jump into my leggings and my longunderwear shirt and sweatchirt socks and get under my electric blanket..........oh it is awful

I am right there with ya Becky! I am like a popsicle most of the time! Cuddleduds are great but even a simple cotton camoiselle (sp?) does wonders. Sometimes the ONLY way to warm up is to take a hot bath - and even then I find myself draining some of the water and refilling with fresh, scalding ho****er... My husband and daughter just roll their eyes at me and have developed an inate ability to ignore me when I complain. However, my daughter (age 6) really gets a kick out of it when I chase her around the house trying to warm my hands on her belly! It's become sort of a game - the only problem is that she's getting faster and gets away from me more often than not... I don't blame her - my hands are pretty darn cold!!! Bekah

Yep, I'm with you too! My son's girlfriend made me a blanket for Christmas cause I'm always cold. Most days I wear long underwear from WalMart, socks and slippers. I have added a vaporizor in my bedroom to provide a bit of humidity. MMM tropics.....I may have to go sit in my car with the heat on and sunshine on my face through the glass ! Jen

yeah I've been freezing too! I wear the k-mart version of cuddleduds. they're like 12 bucks and worth every cent. my feet/hands are always like ice. my husband runs from me when i try to touch him! i was never cold before so this really sucks, but it's a small price to pay for feeling so much better. i wear layer upon layer. i feel like i can't show off my sexy new bod since i have to bundle up so much. my doc says i'll probably even be pretty cool during the summer... it will take some adjusting i guess! i can't believe it... i've got 6 pounds to go before i reach onederland!

i am there to thank god i aint the only one, my hubby is sick of hearing me complain he says last year you always were to hot and now all i hear is your sooooo cold, i am freezing all the damn time it sucks. hopefully we will get use to it and our bodies will do better next year thank god i aint the only one
